Vegan Companies

There are companies that have some vegan products, but not all of their products are vegan. There are companies that have all vegan products, but their parent company is not vegan. There are companies that are vegan with all vegan products and no parent company. The four vegan companies I’m sharing here are all considered small companies, and every single one of their products are vegan and cruelty-free. It’s so important to find products you love from companies you can trust. I love these four companies so much! They do so much good in the world, and their products are amazing. I want you to know about them, and then tell everyone about them!

These are my favorite lip balms! They have 20+ fun flavors like Banana Split, Coffee Bean, Choco Strawberry, Bubble Gum, Apple Spice, French Vanilla, Ginger Ale, Spearmint, Spiced Chai, Mint Chocolate, Orange Creamsicle, Pina Colada, Citrus Bergamot, and more. There’s seasonal flavors like Gingerbread, Peppermint Twist, Candy Corn, Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Bun, and Hot Cocoa. They also have tinted lip balms that are hibiscus flavored in six different colors. So much fun!

Crazy Rumors lip balms are made with organic shea butter (pressed from the karite fruit pit grown on the shea tree, has Vitamins A and E, and contains a natural UV protectant against the sun), macadamia seed oil (pressed from the macadamia tree nut and is anti-inflammatory helping irritated skin) organic jojoba seed oil (from the pressing of jojoba shrub seeds, similar to sebum produced by humans, and is healing, protective, and moisturizing), organic extra virgin olive oil (from the pressing of ripe olives, is nourishing, soothes, softens, and heals skin), organic and natural flavor oils (distillation process containing fruit or fruit juice, spices, vegetable or vegetable juice, herb, bark , bud, root, leaf, other plants, and all are natural food grade flavors), candelilla wax (from the coat of the candelilla shrub, is a thickening agent, and is an alternative to beeswax), organic carnauba wax (from the leaves of the Brazilian wax palm tree, is edible, and has the highest melting point of all waxes), non GMO soy wax (natural vegetable wax from soybeans and is biodegradeable that gets firm and has a creamy consistency), natural stevia (all natural plant with sweetening properties), non nano mica (natural pearlescent mineral pigment), non nano iron ioxide (natural mineral pigment), non nano titanium dioxide (natural mineral white pigment that is a natural sunblock), and gluten-free Vitamin E (vitamin from sunflowers).

These amazing lip balms are certified vegan and cruelty-free, are packaged in recyclable BPA-free containers, incorporate wind power technology in their packaging, and donate a portion of profits to charitable causes. They’re made in GA by a couple named Edie and Brian Himmel, who are super passionate and happy making the best vegan lip balms. There are so many fun and awesome flavors to choose from to have your lips feeling the best!

Dimension Nails

These nail polishes are my favorite nail polishes! I use and love the lacquer polishes, and they also have gel polishes, nail powders, nail brushes, nail art, and eyeshadows. There are so many gorgeous colors with awesome names to choose from, and the cool part is that each collection has a theme. All themes range from The Desert, The Tundra, The Ocean, The Rainforest, Activist Essentials, Vegan and Proud to Jellyfish and more. The mission of Dimension Nails is “aiming to add new dimension in the nail industry by incorporating health conscious 10+ free formulas, a love for animlas through our products, and providing education about veganism with activism at the core.” I love that so much!

Dimension Nails cosmetics are certified vegan and cruelty-free by PETA, Leaping Bunny, and Logical Harmony. Their polish ingredients are 10-free, meaning that they are free of formaldehyde resin, dibutyl phthalate, toluene, camphor, tphp, parabens, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, and fragrances. They’re also free of hydroquinone monomethyl ether (MEHQ/HQ), methylisothiazolinone (MIT)/methylchloroisothiazolinone (CMIT), hydroxyethylmethacrylate or HEMA, palm oil, gluten, and animal derived ingredients.

All of these amazing products are created by the beautiful, kind, and lovely Stephanie Warren, who is vegan, passionate about helping animals, loves getting involved in animal activism, and has the best and most perfect nails at all times. 5% of all sales go to animal charities, shelters, and sanctuaries.

You can even reduce, reuse, and recycle their packaging. You can reduce by letting them know every time you order embellishments so that they can send new ones in refill packaging, which are bags that use 50% less plastic than their reusable pots. You can reuse by using the pots that the embellishments come in, and use the pots to store small things, resuse bubblewrap, reuse paper, and reuse boxes. You can recycle boxes, shredded packing paper, tissue paper, brochures, and more. On their website, you can type in your zip code to find local pickups, drop-offs, centers, and more here. So helpful!

Dimension Nails is my go-to for nail polishes, and I would paint my nails more if I were better at painting them. Just like some people have a ton of shoes, I want to have all of the nail polishes in every color there is. I love so much love for this company!

Soapwalla

Soapwalla is such an amazing company that makes the best and purest high quality skincare and body care products. They have products for the face, lips, and body, plus travel size products and gift sets. Their products are moisturizers, masks, mists, balms, soaps, creams, sprays, oils, and salts. Their ingredients are food grade, edible, sustainable, vegan, organically grown, natural essential oils, and herbs and contain, avocado, lavender, citrus, rosehip, shea, sunflower, almond, calendula, jojoba, ginger, and sea salt among others. All ingredients are free from synthetics, gluten, sodium lauryl sulfate, parabens, pthalates, and petrochemical byproducts.  Their products can help dry skin, sensitive skin, and oily skin. There’s even a tailor-made skincare option in which you can consult one-on-one with the Soapwalla chef to design a skincare regimen perfectly tailored to fit your needs.

All Soapwalla products are vegan and cruelty-free. Some of their products are also MADE SAFE Certified, which means that they are made with safe ingredients not known to harm human health or ecosystems. This is a seal that contains a process that independent scientists and/or researchers examine ingredients to make sure they’re made without known behavioral toxins, carcinogens, developmental toxins, endocrine disruptors, fire retardants, heavy metals, neurotoxins, high-risk pesticides, reproductive toxins, toxic solvents, or VOCs. Then, the ingredients are examined for bioaccumulation (ingredients that build up in our bodies), persistence (ingredients that build up in the environment), and general ecosystem harm, and aquatic and animal toxicity. This is so important!

The Founder of Soapwalla, Rachel Winard, says that, “The skin is our largest organ, and for it to function at its best, we must feed it wholesome ingredients. If I refuse to put something in my body, I don’t want to put it on my body.” I completely and absolutely agree with this all the way! Soapwalla’s Founder had no success in finding skincare that wouldn’t aggrevate her sensitive skin issues, so she created her own skincare in her kitchen. I love this! Soapwalla products are made in Brooklyn, and the name comes from the word “Walla,” which means creator or master in Hindi. So, Soapwalla means soap master.

Their products are certified by the Coalition For Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ Leaping Bunny Program and PETA’s Caring Consumer Program. Their packaging is recyclable, and their shipping products are recyclable and biodegradeable.

Soapwalla meets my standards, and I trust and love this company. My favorite products I’ve used of theirs is all of their deodorant creams. Their deodorant is seriously the only deodorant I use, and I’ve been using it for years. It works, smells amazing, feels amazing, lasts a long time, has pure ingredients, and is now in a glass container. Yay!

Gunas

Gunas has the most gorgeous bags, ever! The vegan company was founded in 2009 by Sugandh G. Agrawal, who is vegan, a passionate voice for the animals, and loves fashion. With so many colors, sizes, and styles to choose from, Gunas bags can be used for anything and taken everywhere. Her intention was to make bags vegan and ethically in a sweatshop-free environment. The bags are handmade with vegan and cruelty-free materials in Seoul, Korea. High quality standards and ethical work conditions are maintained. They pay their artisans above average wages.

Their products are free of leather, silk, fur, wool, bone, horn, and animal byproduct adhesives. They use polyurethane coated cotton canvas, microfibers upholstery fabrics, recycled plastic bottle lining (rPET), recycled paperboard for inner construction, recycled metals for hardware, and mulbtex (mulberry plant leaf pulp from Korea). Mulbtex is plastic and PVC-free, light weight, waterproof, and ages like real leather.

Gunas supports animal welfare groups and sanctuaries. They’ve donated money and products for fund raising and offer special discounts to people who support certain animal charities. A list of the charities and sanctauries they support can be found here. I love companies who give back to helping animals, people, and/or the environment. Gunas is leading the way for other companies to also do so.

Ending Thoughts

I hope that if you don’t already know about these four amazing vegan companies, you will check them out and try their products. Once you do, tell eveyone about them. For real. They are so cool, awesome, and wonderful to be creating products that help the world. All of these companies have products that can be used every day and also make perfect gifts for anyone. It’s so important to educate people about veganism, and these four vegan companies are doing so by showing what vegan and cruelty-free is. Have fun, keep your standards high, and use these products as a part of your healthy vegan lifestyle.
