Simplicity is amazing. The simpler, the better. You don’t need many beauty tools at all. There are a few I believe to be necessities that I personally love and use every day. These are for the skin, hair, teeth, and nails, so there’s a little variety going on. They’re obviously all vegan, cruelty-free, and chemical-free, too. Dry Brush
Dry brushing helps to exfoliate the skin, is great for the lymphatic system, and helps to circulate blood flow. A good dry brush is GingerChi Meridian. Their jute dry brush is softer than their more course sisal dry brush. Try dry brushing right before you take a shower, and brush your entire body in upward motions towards your heart.
Ice Roller
An ice roller can help with puffiness, redness, and firms the skin. Just roll it over your face for a nice and refreshing facial massage. This facial brush is fun to use, and it makes you feel like you’re doing something nice for your skin. I haven’t seen a bad review of the TAO Clean facial brush. Everyone who uses it definitely seems to love it. It comes in a few colors, and has three different brushes you can use. It comes with the daily brush and the exfoliating brush, but there is also a sensitive brush available and a silicone brush as well as replacement brushes for all when you need them. There are two different speed modes. Cases to keep the brushes in are included, and the station cleans up to 99.9% of bacteria using UV-C light while also drying the brush. That’s really cool.
Wooden Brush
The pureGLO sandalwood brush is the best brush for hair that I’ve ever used. The whole brush is made of wood, and it comes in a box to keep it in. No frizz or static. The brush helps to distribute your natural oils from your scalp throughout your hair well. You can also find it on Amazon.
Crystal Nail File
I have natural nails, so I let my real nails grow to a length that I like. The only type of nail file I use is a crystal nail file. It shapes nails, makes them smooth, and does not damage them. After you use it, you just run it under water, and it’s as good as new. I have the one from Sephora, but I don’t know if Sephora makes them anymore. You can find other crystal nail files that work well.
Sonic Toothbrush
My teeth have never felt better since I’ve been using this toothbrush. The TAO Clean Sonic toothbrush is the absolute best toothbrush that I’ve ever used. Just like their facial brush, it comes in a few different colors, and the station cleans up to 99.9% of bacteria using UV-C light while drying the toothbrush as well. There are two different cleaning modes for it, and the replaceable brush heads are avaialble when you need more of them.
Safety Razor
I was looking for a high quality razor for a long time. I’ve read about safety razors, so I decided to try one. I chose OUI The People rose gold single-blade razor because it is a safety razor that helps with razor burn, irritation, and ingrown hairs. It is also made by a woman, and women understand women better. It doesn’t pull or tug on hair, so it gives a close, smooth shave while making you not having to shave as often. The blade is very easy to put on and take out. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin, this razor will also be so great for you. It’s definitely the most beautiful razor I’ve ever seen.
Shower Cap
I only wash my hair once a week, so a shower cap is an absolute necessity in my life. I never found a perfect one until now. Every shower cap I’ve seen before is ugly, leaves a mark on your forehead, doesn’t hold hair well, and gets soaked. SHHHOWERCAP is the only shower cap I use, and it’s just the shower cap reinvented. Something extra and fun to use is a rose quartz roller. I love and use the GingerChi rose quartz roller. Rose quartz is a healing stone. They’re made with viscose, so they give you such a perfect exfoliating scrub. These rid your body of the built up toxins and impurities, increase blood flow circulation, and stimulate the lymphatic system. It’s good to exfoliate twice a week, and make sure to not use these mittens on your face. These can be washed, and it’s recommended to replace them every three months.
