Why You Should Follow Recipes

When you make recipes, you know exactly what ingredients you’re using, and that what you’re making will turn out right. Also, you can use the same ingredients for more than one recipe. Another reason to make recipes is that you have more options. There are countless recipes online and in books.

What Kinds of Recipes Do You Like?

There literally is a recipe for everything. Seriously. Obviously, every recipe I talk about is vegan (this is a vegan blog, after all), but I want you to know that even if you’re not vegan, there are vegan recipe(s) you will like (or even love). I promise! If you are vegan or want to be, then just know that this blog post may change your life. Yes! I’m so serious. When I found recipes that fit my preferences, it was life-changing for me! I found so many amazing vegan recipe blogs, but there are only a few that I go back to again and again. What are your tastes and preferences? To give you an example, I prefer savory, smoky, barbecue, southwestern, Mediterranean, and Italian flavors. I love soups, hummus, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pizza, veggie dishes, pasta, stir frys, quinoa, lentils, and brown rice. I don’t have a sweet tooth, but my choice of sweets are granola, ice cream, cupcakes or cake, fudge, pancakes, and breads like pumpkin bread and banana bread. I have found incredible recipes for all of those, and there are plenty more recipes for every single eat you love!

Narrow It Down

Since I’m talking vegan recipes here, there are endless options. It seems to be true that the more choices people have sometimes, the more likely they’re to choose nothing at all and just give up. Please don’t let that be you! The amount of phenomenal recipes online can easily be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Get specific. Do you like sweet or savory better? Do you want to eat more fruits, carbs, grains, fats, or protein? Do you want more raw or more cooked? Do you prefer Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, American, Asian, Indian, or Jamaican the most? The vegan recipes I make and love from these blogs are nutritious, simple, and delicious.

What I Look For in Recipes

There are tons and tons of vegan recipes online, but I don’t just make any vegan recipe I see. I want the recipes I make to be: simple, healthy, delicious, and satisfying.

When I say simple, I mean few ingredients. A recipe containing so many ingredients could get complicated, not taste great, and be bad for digestion. It’s important for the recipes to be healthy, so that I can be my best. I love when some of the ingredients can be used to make other recipes as well. This saves time! Delicious and satisfying are a given. Of course, everyone wants every recipe they make to be delicious and satisfying! I’ve found my favorites from these incredible vegan recipe blogs that deliver and never disappoint!
