Use Your Power

You have to know how powerful you truly are. You have the power to feel amazing, okay, or bad. Give yourself the chance to feel how you really want to feel. Think about that first. How do you feel in your body? How do you feel in your mind? How does doing the things you do make you feel?

So many people don’t even know what it’s like to feel amazing because they’ve never given themselves the chance to feel that way. I know what it’s like to feel terrible, okay, great, and amazing. I promise you that once you know what it’s like to actually feel amazing, that’s all you’ll want to feel. No one is perfect, but you can do all you can to feel incredible.

Focus On What You Can Control

Worry and stress are big factors that cause bad and unwanted outcomes. You cannot control certain outside circumstances, like the weather, inflation, politics, or what other people do, but you can control what you think.

What you think leads to how you feel. You can choose to feel badly about something, face it, and move on by changing your thoughts. You can also choose to feel sad, happy, or great about something.

You can control what you do, the choices you make, and the actions you take as well as what you eat, drink, wear, watch, read, and listen to. So, when you focus on what you can control, your energy is spent making intentional choices that can benefit you.

When you focus on what you can’t control, you will feel helpless, defeated, and overwhelmed, which leads to worry, stress, and exhaustion. See how that can go? Focus your attention and use your energy on what you can control. That’s powerful and empowering.

What Feels Bad?

Before I tell you actual and tangible things you can do to feel amazing, it’s useful and helpful to know what makes you feel bad in the first place. This can be physical, emotional, and mental. You can physically feel tired, you can emotionally feel tired, and you can mentally feel tired. Feeling tired may not always necessarily be a bad thing, but I think we can agree that you don’t want to feel tired often.

Not getting enough sleep is the main culprit of this, and it can affect nearly everything. Feeling heavy, bloated, weak, or sick sometimes can result from not eating enough whole plant foods. Having dry skin can be from not drinking enough water.

Feeling emotionally drained, sad, or frustrated can be from not communicating clearly or enough. Those are just examples. There are a lot more. Ask yourself what is making you feel bad. Then, ask yourself if lifestyle can change it. A lot of times lifestyle can. That’s great news because you can control your lifestyle.

Lifestyle is Everything

Lifestyle matters, so make it work for you. Make your lifestyle the best you can. It’s how you live, and you get to design it the way you want it. How fun and awesome is that? When you think about it this way, it’s exciting.

So, what can lifestyle change? It can change weight loss, weight gain, emotions, communication, eating, drinking, exercise, sleep, mental focus, energy, productivity, creativity, and overall health. Track and evaluate if there are changes that you want to make and goals that you want to achieve.

Make changes through your lifestyle to change something you want to change that you can control in your life, track this each day or week, and evaluate if the changes you made have been effective or not. If they have, you now know that lifestyle fixed it and helped.

If not, you can move on and find other options. Stay consistent with changes you make for at least a month to fully and accurately determine if things are working for you. Changes, big or small, both matter and add up.

It Starts With Your Mind

Most people think and believe that feeling better by losing weight, having more energy, or improving their skin are all physical things, and they are, but none of that will be the best they can be without having your mind ready first.

You think you’ll feel better by having more success or losing more weight, but is your mind ready for it all? Is your mind ready to do things consistently that you’ll need to do for changes you want to have?

You can want to change things and improve things from appreciating what you already have and from where you currently are. That mindset will get you to where you ultimately want to be. Feed your mind with positive, loving, supportive, and optimistic thoughts often.

No, it may not always be this way, but making healthy habits will make you want to stay consistent no matter what. Your mind is your foundation, so when you strengthen it, support it, and love it, you will be willing, able, and ready for what you want to experience in your life.

Planning is Powerful

I talk a lot about planning for a reason. It works. You can’t get time back, so you want to make the most of the time you have.

No matter how busy you are, you can use planning to organize, manage, and prioritize your time. Plan the things you need to do and the things you want to do.

It’s better to use a digital calendar so that you can easily make changes if you need to. Block out your time in increments giving you the amount of time you think you’ll need to do things. Plan the results that you want to have.

For example, if you’re writing a book, plan on your calendar to write chapter 4 of your book from 6:00-8:00 since the result you want to have by doing this is having chapter 4 written of your book.

Planning this way shows you exactly what you need to do, and it can keep you going in the right direction. You’re not always going  to want to do it, and that’s okay. You know how important it is for you to follow through and stay accountable to yourself though.

Think about how you want to feel and what results you want to have. This will get you to realize and see how much can actually get done when you pay attention to how you use your time and what you do with it. You have the power to use time effectively, so use it intentionally. Planning helps with creativity, happiness, productivity, and energy.

Nourish Your Whole Self

Every single day, sleep enough, get a little bit of sunlight, walk outside with no shoes on, meditate, eat whole plant foods properly food combined, drink water in between meals, use chemical-free, cruelty-free, and vegan products on your skin, hair, nails, and teeth, exercise, stretch, communicate clearly, do things you love, practice gratitude, plan your results, and take care of your mind.

Take care of yourself. Doing all of this consistently will give yourself the chance to feel amazing.

Ending Thoughts

There are a lot of things you can do together to feel amazing, so give yourself that chance. Staying consistent with healthy habits will give you momentum to keep going.

Getting the results you want will motivate you and empower you to stay consistent with healthy actions you can do every day that you control in your life to feel how you want to feel.
